As part of an expansion of Client Services at ASAP, we’re pleased to announce Susanna Kemp is joining us this month directly from the esteemed Levine Music to lead our new Community Arts services group.
“With a 20-year history in software assessment and implementation for non-profits, Susanna’s thorough grasp of the users’ experience will be a valuable voice for arts organizations in our product development process and strategic planning for this market,” said Joel Meyer, CEO.
In her role overseeing ongoing support and services to arts organizations, Susanna will manage a team that steers new clients through design and implementation phases of the ASAP registration and management system. In her tenure at Levine Music, she was similarly responsible for the development and implementation of their registration system, and championed the benefits of online registration for customers. She also ran the highly successful Summer Music and Arts Day Camp for almost 1000 campers each summer.
Highlights from her previous experience include leading implementation of a global CRM (customer relationship management) pilot project for the British Council and serving as lead Technical Advisor for a communications consultancy working with education non-profits in the after-school field. Prior to arriving in the US in 1997, she worked for the Open Society Institute in Prague and Budapest, running education and grant programs.
In addition to extensive work in communications and software implementation, she is a professionally-trained violinist, with a degree from the Guildhall School of Music in London UK, and has performed extensively across the UK and Europe. Most recently, she is a founder of the Takoma Ensemble, a small chamber orchestra based in Takoma Park, MD.
Susanna will be based in the DC Metro area. Travis Prowell, COO, added, “We’re excited and honored. Susanna brings many talents and she’s not only a fount of experience but an absolute pleasure to work with, too.”
