Today, we’re proud to introduce Lesson Packages. This is a new feature just entering beta mode in our Private Lessons module. The basic elements of the Lesson Packages — how they work and how they’re managed — are outlined here on the ASAP Support site. So let’s take a look at how they can benefit your organization.
First, what are Lesson Packages?
Let’s imagine that Samantha, a customer, wants to purchase eight private dance lessons for the upcoming school term. She doesn’t know the details of the lessons yet. But she wants to make the payment and the commitment today. Now, with Lesson Packages, she can do this. By going online to her school’s registration website, she can select a Lesson Package for eight lessons. The purchase form will let her choose a category and lesson length from the presets and an invoice will be automatically generated, showing eight lesson credits in her account. Then, when it’s time to assign student lessons, the administrator can select the schedule, location and instructor for Samantha’s Private Lessons.
In simplest terms, Lesson Packages are bundles of lessons, which are paid for by the customer in advance. The Private Lesson placement process occurs after the generation of the invoice.
The beauty of Lesson Packages are their convenience. So it makes sense that the idea was first proposed by an ASAP user. He suggested that we incorporate the ability to create pre-purchased lessons, and we agreed wholeheartedly. With Lesson Packages, students can act quickly to reserve their spots if lesson enrollments are limited. Management can better match demand to supply with advance commitments. And staff can even out their workflow by handling some assignments in advance.
We’re thrilled to offer Lesson Packages to our ASAP customers. As a new feature, it will go through some changes in the coming weeks, and we look forward to hearing your input.
